Donations

All donations for the walking challenge are made using a Crowdfunder page on the JustGiving platform – we choose this, as it's a very well-known name in the charity fundraising field.

However, JustGiving do have some default values we don't particularly agree with… we tried to, but we can't change these, so wanted to let you know how you can easily modify them when making a donation.

There are a couple of things to look out for:

The default donation amount of £40
The additional voluntary contribution (to JustGiving) of 15%

When you click the 'Give Now' button, this Donation amount form is displayed…

To change the donation amount

Please click in the amount field – you can now change this to whatever value you would like to donate… we really don't mind how big or small your donation is, as every penny helps the fight against MND.

To change the additional contribution

Please click in the dropdown list above the 'Continue' button, then select 'Other' at the bottom of the list.
This will now display a new field, with the heading 'Enter contribution amount' – it will have the value of £0.00 as the amount.

Note: Any amount you enter here goes directly to JustGiving, not the walking challenge – it's up to you if you want to do this extra donation, a value £0.00 is fine.
